Victoria M. (Grottola) Lloyd

Victoria (Grottola) Morgan Lloyd, 95, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, died peacefully on Sunday, August 30, 2020.  She was predeceased by her sons, Richard K. Morgan and James V. Morgan;  her parents, Joseph & Maria Grottola; grandson, James R. Hodgson; and her 7 Grottola sisters.  She is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna & Bill Finch, East Berne, NY, Connie & Rob Hodgson  Land O Lakes, FL.; her son, Joseph Morgan, Endicott, NY; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and friends.  Vicky was a retired sales clerk (24 years) from Roger's Apparel.  She was a lifelong parishoner of SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, an active member of the Ladies Club, and a Friday night Bingo volunteer for many years.  She was also a 20-year volunteer at R.S.V.P., sewing teddy bears for heart patients.  Vicky enjoyed her trips to Las Vegas with her sisters and playing bingo.  She'll always be remembered for her outgoing personality, positive attitude and her beautiful smile, but most of all she was a wonderful and amazing mother who always said "Do the best you can and take one day at a time."  A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11:00 AM at SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, 148 Clinton St., Binghamton, NY,  on Friday, September 11, 2020.  Family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of the Mass at 11:00 AM.  Burial will be in South Berne Rural Cemetery.  A special thank you to all of the staff at Teresian House for the loving care given to Vicky.  Memorial donations may be made to the Activity Fund at Teresian House, 200 Washington Ave. Extension, Albany, NY  12203.  Arrangements by Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc.
