Susan Karlik

Susan Karlik peacefully passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024 in her hometown of Binghamton, NY.  Born on March 11, 1952, she was predeceased by her parents, Walter & Helen Karlik.  Susan spent most of her life in Broome County.  She attended the Ridley Lowell Business School and then worked for OPWDD, the NY State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities, until retirement. She is survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.  Her dear friends include Merri Markovitch and Gloria Best.  She is also survived by her cat, Abby, who brought her great joy and comfort through the years.  A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at the Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc., 96 Glenwood Ave., Binghamton, NY 13905. Prior to the service a viewing will take place from 10:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home.  Upon conclusion of the services, she will be transported to Calvary Cemetery, 501 Fairview St., Johnson City, NY, for interment.
