Melody J. (Wells) Petras

Melody J. (Wells) Petras, 75, passed away at home on Monday, October 17, 2022, surrounded by her family, after a short illness.  She was predeceased by her daughter, Mary Ellen Frost.  She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Richard J. Petras; her daughter and daughter-in-law, Tina Petras & Diane Molinari; her son and daughter-in-law, Dave & Amy Petras; 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved pup, Apollo.   Mel was a retired employee of Stow Manufacturing and Elliott Manufacturing.  She loved gardening, bird watching, ipad puzzles and keeping Rick in line.  At Mel's request, funeral services will be private.  Burial was in Slovak Catholic Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be made to the Greene Emergency Squad, 30 Birdsall St., Greene, NY  13778.  Arrangements by Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc.
