Margaret R. (Stora) Silvanic

Margaret R. Silvanic, 93, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2018. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul; and her sister Stephanie Soltis. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jim & Jo-Ann Silvanic; three grandchildren, Nicki Silvanic, Denver, CO, Shannon Silvanic & fiancé David Ritter, Johnson City, and Lindsay Silvanic, Endicott; one great-grandchild, Jaxon James Ritter. She is also survived by her sister, Frances Silvanic, Johnson City; nieces and nephews, Sandy Blackwell and daughter Stacy; Nancy & Scott Poulton and children, Natalie, Mackenzie & Nicholas; Robert and Barb Soltis; Bill (Judy) Silvanic and children Ben and Melissa; Tom & Denise Silvanic and children Katie and Jillian; and several special cousins and godchildren. Margie was a member of the Church of the Holy Trinity. She retired from Wilson Hospital where she was a mail carrier and played a big part in the Silvanic Printing Company, first assisting her husband and then her son. She was a member of the Endwell Senior Citizens Center and loved the game of pinochle. One the finest kolachi bakers you'd come across, she had an infectiously upbeat personality and energy for days. Heaven gained an angel in Margie. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 9, 2018, at the Church of the Holy Trinity, 346 Prospect St., Binghamton. Family will receive friends at the church from 9:00 AM until the time of the Mass at 11:00 AM.  Inurnment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements by Bednarsky Funeral home, Inc.
