Lucille J. (Monkovic) Chase

Lucille Jane (Monkovic) Chase, 69, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, December 28, 2018, after a long and difficult battle with stroke-related complications and subsequent illnesses.  She was predeceased by her parents, Bertha & Louis Monkovic; and her brother, George Monkovic.  She is survived by her husband, Rodman J. Chase; her son, James L. Chase; two sisters, Carolyn (Charles) Larrabee and Judith (Richard) Anastasio; and several nieces and nephews.  Lucille was a faithful, loving, devoted and caring wife and mother.  She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, care for her family and her sense of humor. Lucille was a faithful member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Vestal, NY.  Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at the Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc., 96 Glenwood Ave., Binghamton, NY, with Rev. Matthew Smith officiating.  Burial will be in Spring Forest Cemetery.  Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM.
