Obituary
Louis Charsky, 89, of Johnson City, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 23, 2023. Louis was predeceased by his parents, Mary and Louis Charsky; his daughter, Cathleen; his wife, Rita; and brother, Allen. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Cindy and Rachel; his brother Richard; and his grandchildren, Joshua and Kiernan. Lou was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War and a retired employee of IBM after more than 30 years of service. He was a skilled golfer, bowler and softball player who was passionate about all NY professional sports teams. Lou lived an extraordinary life, prioritizing family and friendships above all else. On Friday August 11, 2023 a memorial service will be held from 1:00-2:00 at Vestal Hills Memorial Park. Please join the family for a celebration of his life at the American Legion Post 1305 on Lower Stella Ireland Road after the memorial services.
