Joyce (Ondrako) Pavlik

Joyce (Ondrako) Pavlik, 88, died on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, after a short illness.  She was predeceased by her husband, John Pavlik; her parents, Anthony & Rose Ondrako; and her sister, Virginia Jurik.  She is survived by her loving nieces, nephews,  great-nieces, and great-nephews, who she held as her children and grandchildren; Jessica & Paul Petrick, Dr. John & Nancy Jurik, and Jeffrey & Denise Jurik; PJ & Kendra Petrick, Michael & Colleen Petrick, Andy & Rachel Jurik, Daniel Jurik, and Allison Jurik.  Joyce was a member of SS. Cyril & Methodius Church and the Omega Auxiliary.  She was a retired employee of General-Electric Corp.  She loved gardening, and she traveled the world with her sister.   A Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:00 AM on Monday at SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, 148 Clinton St., Binghamton, where the family will receive friends from 9:00 AM until the time of the Mass at 10:00 AM.  Burial will be in Slovak Catholic Cemetery at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial donations to St. Cyril's Repair My Church Fund.  Arrangements by Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc.
