Harriet (Wiktorek) Monkovich

Harriet (Wiktorek) Monkovich, of Johnson City, NY, went home to be with her Lord and savior Sunday April 14, 2024 at her home. She was predeceased by her parents, Henry, and Alice Wiktorek. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Steve Monkovich; two children, Robert Monkovich, Marie Tyler (Chris), three grandchildren, Alexsis, Christopher and Emily Tyler; one step-grandson, Anthony Gates; two great-grandchildren, Finley Robarge and Cecilia Tyler; one sister, Loretta Skrzypek; one brother, Henry Wiktorek (Brenda); also several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a lifelong member of St. Casimir’s Church, Endicott and more recently Holy Trinity Church, Binghamton where she belonged to the choir. She worked for various insurance companies through the years and was a talented artist. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who lived for her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed.
At Harriet’s request there will be no funeral services. Arrangements are by the Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc.
