Gordon C. Bickford

Gordon C. Bickford, 91, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at the Oxford Veterans Home.  He was predeceased by his infant son, Gordon C. Bickford, Jr.; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.  He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Dorothy Bickford; a sister-in-law, Elsie Bickford; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, including caretakers, Fred & Sally Benedict.   Gordon was a US Army veteran of WW II and was a retired employee of Raymond Corp. He enjoyed woodworking and musical instruments.  Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday at the Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc., 96 Glenwood Ave., Binghamton, NY.  Burial will be in Slovak Lutheran Cemetery.  Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at 12:00 noon.  Memorial donations may be made to the NYS Veterans Home, Oxford, NY 13830.
