Edna Melious

Edna Melious, 89, died peacefully, surrounded by her family on Friday, August 17, 2018.  She was predeceased by her husband, Norman Melious; and her daughter, Kathleen Woloszyn.  She is survived by her five children and their spouses, Diane & Gary Vajay, Norman & JoAnn Melious, Howard & Melody Melious, Kenneth & Joanne Melious, and Deborah Heater; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.  She was a retired employee of Wilson Hospital,  member of the First Ward Senior Citizen's Center and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Binghamton Moose Club. Edna enjoyed her time at the senior centers and participating in the events there.  She was devoted to her family.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday at the Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc., 96 Glenwood Ave., Binghamton, NY.  Family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
