March 24, 1931 ~ December 4, 2020 (age 89) 89 Years Old

David Katcher Obituary

David Andrew Katcher, 89, formerly of Binghamton, NY, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 4, 2020, at the Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was predeceased by his wife, Barbara Katcher; and his sister, Marcia Magill.  He is survived by his sons, Gary Katcher and Brian Katcher, Las Vegas, NV; granddaughter,  Morgan, Lodi, CA; and grandson, Dylan, San Francisco, CA.  Also survived by his sister, Norma Kinney, Yorktown, VA; brother-in-law, Arthur Magill, Binghamton, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Maureen and Robert McAlister; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was an alumni of Binghamton Central High School, Syracuse University and a retired general manager of the United States Postal Service, Seattle, WA. David was an impassioned fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Vegas Knights and the Syracuse University Orangemen. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, 148 Clinton St., Binghamton, where the family will receive friends from 9:45 AM until the time of the Mass at 10:30 AM.  Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery.  Arrangements by Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc.
