Dale Reckhow

Dale Reckhow, 81, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 24, 2019, after a long struggle with MS.  He is survived by his loving wife, Marlene; two daughters and sons-in-law, Connie & Rick Coggins, and Susan Reckhow & Thomas Chaddock; one son, John D. Reckhow; and two grandchildren, Thomas H. and Evan Chaddock, the lights of Dale's life.  He is also survived by 3 sisters, Bonnie Lindsay, Linda Thomson (and husband George) and Starr Anderson (and husband George); 5 nephews, 1 niece and their families; as well as other relatives and friends.  Dale retired from IBM Corporation after 31 years of service as a Tool and Die Maker.  In retirement, he was an avid woodworker specializing in making toys for children.  The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Elizabeth Church Manor, especially Faith, for the compassionate care given to Dale.   At the request of the family, funeral services will be private.  Memorial donations may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Resources of Central NY, 6743 Kinne St, East Syracuse, NY 13057.
