Mary P. (Hudak) Prislupsky

Mary P. Prislupsky, 85, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 24, 2018.  She was predeceased by her husband, John J. Prislupsky; and her parents, John & Anna Hudak.  She is survived by her daughter and daughter-in-law, Yolanda Prislupsky & Konnie McCauley of TX; 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, David & Linda Prislupsky, of Kirkwood, and Joseph Prislupsky & his girlfriend, Connie Utter, of Binghamton; 2 granddaughters, Lindsay & Ryan Oswald and Kristine & Jon-Erik Wagner; a great-grandson, James Oswald; and her life-long friend, Anita, & husband, Orlando DeMarco.  Mary was a devout member of Holy Spirit Byzantine Catholic Church and was active in the Mothers' Club and Bingo.  She was an active resident of the James G. Johnston Nursing Home and member of the resident council, the Czechoslovak-Moravan Club and the Red Hat Society.  She loved gardening, drawing and teaching/making krafts.  Mary was a devoted mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed.  Funeral services will begin at 12:00 noon on Friday at the Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc., 96 Glenwood Ave., Binghamton, followed by a Divine Liturgy at 12:30 PM at Holy Spirit Byzantine Catholic Church, 360 Clinton St., Binghamton.  Burial will be in Holy Spirit Cemetery.  Family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00-6:00 PM at the funeral home.   Memorial donations may be made to the church or to the Humane Society.
