Diane M. (Salva) Busko

Diane Marie (Salva) Busko, 45, went to be with the Lord after a short illness on Thursday, May 3, 2018. 
She was predeceased by her father, Stephen Salva; her grandfather, John Karaim; and several uncles. 
She is survived by her husband, Nikolai Busko; her mother, Virginia Salva; her brother, Steve Salva; her sister, Joanne Salva; her grandmother, Arlene Karaim; her aunt and uncle, Tom & Bernice Salva; and several cousins.  Diane was a devout, active member of the Church of the Holy Trinity.  She was employed as a Deputy Clerk for the Village of Johnson City, and was the co-chair of the Johnson City Celebration Committee, which organizes Johnson City Field Days and Lights on the Carousel. Family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 PM on Tuesday, May 8 at Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc., 96 Glenwood Ave, Binghamton, NY.  Funeral services will begin at 9:30 AM on Wednesday at the Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc., followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Holy Trinity, 349 Prospect St., Binghamton. Burial will be in Slovak Catholic Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be made to the Church of the Holy Trinity.
