Valentina Surgent

Valentina Surgent, 85 of Binghamton, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017. She was predeceased by her husband, Stefan Surgent, Sr., her parents, two sisters, one brother and her Godson, Valetti Siniavsky. She is survived by her son, Stefan Surgent, Jr.; her daughter, Alexandra Fedorwich; two grandchildren, Victor Patinha (Karen), Zena Fedorwich; one great-granddaughter, Nyla Victoria Patinha; also several nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Michael's Greek Catholic Church, Binghamton. The family would like to extend sincere thanks to the staff at Brookdale and Vestal Park, especially her two Petunia's, Chrissi and Teara, her friends, Mitch and Henry, and Dr. Eisenberg for the compassionate care that Valentina received. A graveside service will be held in St. Michael's Greek Catholic Cemetery in the Spring.  There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to the Broome County Humane Society , 2 Jackson St. Binghamton, NY 13903.
