Thomas H. Rose

Thomas H. Rose, 89, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Wilson Hospital.  He was predeceased by his wife, Lorraine; his parents, Peter and Helen; two brothers, Robert and Michael (Patricia); and a beloved daughter-in-law, Anne Rose.  He is survived by his two sons and a daughter-in-law, David and Karen Rose and Mark Rose; 7 grandchildren, Cory (Brittany) Rose, Molly (Andy) Rose-Lindquist, Brian Rose, Victoria Rose, Elizabeth (Ron) Rose, Tracy (Adam) Deming and Valerie (Mike) Mitchell; 9 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Barbara Rose; several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Tom was a member of the Church of the Holy Trinity, formerly St. Ann's, where he loyally served as a lector, sang in the choir and helped with whatever needed to be done.  He was a retired employee of I.B.M. Corp. and worked as "Tool Time Tom" at Lowe's.  He was well-known for his woodworking hobby.  He will be missed.   A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 9 at the Church of the Holy Trinity, 346 Prospect St., Binghamton, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of the Mass at 11:00 AM.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.  The family is forever grateful to the many wonderful caretakers Tom had at his home, at Vestal Park and during his hospitalizations.   Arrangements by Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc.
