Teresa A. Visocky, 66, went peacefully in her sleep to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 2, 2021. She was predeceased by her father, Joseph W. Visocky; her grandparents, William W. & Anna Orzell; and her uncle, John M. Visocky. She is survived by her husband, Edgar Osoris; her mother, Dolores Visocky; her sister & brother-in-law, Laura & Marc Blais; a niece, Nicole Orrick (Justin); a great-niece, Eden Orrick; nephews, Michael Donovan, Justin Blais (Emily), Travis Blais; a great-nephew, C.J. Blais; her uncle, William "Bill" (Mary) Orzell; and several cousins. Terry was a JCHS graduate and completed her Associate Degree in Communication at SUNY Broome. She was a former employee of I.B.M. Corp. and the Blind Workshop. Terry's most favorite hobby was researching and purchasing perfumes and cosmetics. She could discern the ingredients of each perfume just by the scent and loved sharing the perfumes with people wherever she went. She loved shopping, reading books, writing, watching movies, old and new, and was very generous to others. Her cats, Binka, Matchka and Kishka meant the world to her and were her children. Special thank you to her beloved husband, Edgar, for their 35 years together, and for the loving care given to her throughout her illness so that she could be at home. Terry will be truly missed by her family, friends and neighbors. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at the Church of the Holy Trinity, 346 Prospect St., Binghamton. Family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of the Mass at 11:00 AM. The urn will be buried in Slovak Catholic Cemetery immediately following. The family would like to thank Lourdes Hospice and Mercy House for their assistance. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mercy House, Endicott, NY. Arrangements by Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc.
