Shirley L (Zabadal) Grabowski

Shirley Grabowski, 78, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at her home after a battle with breast cancer.  She was predeceased by her husband, Walter; her parents, Mary & Louis Zabadal; her sister, Barbara Zabadal.  She is survived by children, Ronald and Nikki Chipper, Maria and John Drumheller, Lynette and Vaughn Crothers, Sarah Butler, Kristine and Ron Colleluori, Nicole and Dan Majka, Michelle and Tim Tumulty; 14 grandchildren, John, Brian, Joseph, Kyle, Matthew, Jack, Noah, Morgan, Kathryn, Emily, Luke, Grant, Grace and Reagan; one great-granddaughter, Elena; a sister and brother-in-law, Ann Marie & Bill Lenkiewicz; sisters-in-law, a brother-in-law; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and her loyal and beloved dog, Abby, who was with her until the end.  Shirley was a member of the Church of the Holy Trinity where she volunteered at funeral brunches, bingo, and also served on the Altar Rosary Society.  She also belonged to the Golden Girls. Shirley was meant to be a mom; she cherished her time with her family and was a very kind and giving   soul.    A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at the Church of the Holy Trinity, 324 Prospect St., Binghamton, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of the Mass at 11:00 AM.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Broome County Humane Society, 167 Conklin Ave., Binghamton, NY 13903.
