Ruth Z. (Goldberg) Dorfman

Ruth Dorfman, 96, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025.  Ruth was predeceased by her husband, Robert, in 2017.  Ruth is survived by her daughter, Nancy Dorfman (Jamie Tandlich); son, Eliot Dorfman; granddaughters, Rachel (Zachary) Gordon and Jenna (Maxwell) Goldbas; and great-granddaughter, Millie Gordon. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Temple Concord in Binghamton.  Shiva will be observed at Nancy and Jamie's home on Thursday, February 27, from 7:00-9:00 PM, Friday, February 28, from 3:00-5:00 PM, and Saturday, March 1, from 7:00-9:00 PM.  Ruth was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who was privileged to develop a warm, loving community when she moved to Binghamton in 2016.  May her memory be for blessing.  Arrangements by Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc.
