Richard H. Lawrence

Richard H. Lawrence, 85, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2014.  He was predeceased by his loving wife, Helen; his parents, Earl & Rose Lawrence; his brother, Earl & Betty Lawrence; and infant sister, Mary Ellen Lawrence.  He is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Irene & Dr. John Kotchick; a brother and sister-in-law, David & Jeanette Lawrence; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and his dear friend, Ann Kabanek.  Dick was a U.S. Army veteran of WW II and a retired employee of I.B.M. Corp., Endicott.  A Memorial Mass will be offered at 9:30 AM on Thursday, at the Church of the Holy Trinity, 346 Prospect St., Binghamton.  Family will receive friends at the church from 8:30 AM until the time of the Mass at 9:30 AM.  Inurnment will follow in Vestal Hills Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lourdes Hospital Spiritual Care, 169 Riverside Dr., Binghamton, NY 13905, or the Humane Society, 2 Jackson St., Binghamton,  NY 13903.   Arrangements by Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc.
