Jim and the Slavetskas family, I am very sorry for your loss. Paul was the cornerstone of your family----solid, steady and always there. He was a very quiet man, but never failed to speak out and act when necessary. Our families were very close going back a couple generations. I still have a picture of your father and mine in their WWII military uniforms. We lived only one house apart as the crow flies. We all seemed to grow up together, so I feel your loss. Paul was the senior alter boy when we were all alter boys at St. Joseph's. We all looked up to him. I am sure that there is a special place in heaven for him. May God bless him and hold him in the palm of his hand.
