Megan J. Swift

Megan Swift, 31, died of natural causes at her home on Tuesday, March 8, 2016.  She was predeceased by her grandparents, Jean & Bill Swift; grandfather, Bernard Levy; her aunt, Becky Levy; infant aunt, Jessica Levy; and uncle, Randy Swift.  She is survived by her parents, Laurie & Douglas Swift; her sister, Raquel Swift; grandmother, Elizabeth Levy; her aunts and uncles, Michele (Richard) Braco, Pam (Jon) Ludwig, Sara Levy, Jody (Stephan Boeker) Hafey, Rachel (John) Hyatt, Kirsti (Bill) Marella; Dianne (Bob Miles) Swift; uncle, Mark Roth;  and many cousins, including special cousin, Kellie Braco.  She was an employee of the Vestal Walmart.  Megan was only 31 years old, but she touched the lives of so many with her kind heart. She loved people and cared deeply for animals.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 9:30 AM at Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc. and at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 1 Aquinas St., Binghamton, NY 13905, where a Funeral Mass will be offered by the Rev. Msgr. John Putano.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.  Family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00-7:00 PM at the Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc., 96 Glenwood Ave., Binghamton, NY, 13905.  Memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society or to The National Shrine of The Divine Mercy  2 Prospect Hill Rd, Stockbridge, MA 01263.
