Mary Scott Burkhalter

Mary Scott Burkhalter, 75, died on Friday, June 7, 2024 as the result of an auto accident.   She is survived by her spouse, Abigail J. Mack; her daughter, Thais Burhalter; and grandson, Scott Genardo, both of Portlandville, NY.  She is also survived by siblings, Susan Burkhalter (husband, Curt), Salli Pfoutz (husband, Mark), David Burkhalter (wife, Michelle); and nieces and nephews.  Scottie worked for 34 years in Civil Service in Broome County, first in clerical jobs, then as a Clinical Social Worker.  She loved her family, dogs, horses, keeping house, gardening and music.  At her request, there will be no services.   Arrangements by Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc.
