Mary S. (Organisciak) Kwiatkowski

Mary S. Kwiatkowski, 99, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 19, 2015.  She was predeceased by her husband, Alexander; her son, Anthony; siblings,  Josephine Burns, John and Joseph Organisciak, Florence Petrak and Catherine Starzec; and her parents, Pawel & Anna Organisciak.  She is survived by two sons and two daughters-in-law, William & Joyce Kwiatkowski, of Owego, Edward Kwiatkowski, of Binghamton, and Helen Kwiatkowski, of Vestal;  6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Stephanie Mazur, Ann Olexa and Esther Organisciak; and many nieces and nephews.  Mary was a member of SS. Cyril & Methodius Church.  She was a very strong woman and was devoted to her family;  she will be greatly missed.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 24, at 9:30 AM at the Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc., 96 Glenwood Ave., Binghamton, and at 10:00 AM at SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, 148 Clinton St., Binghamton, where a Funeral Mass will be offered.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.  Family will receive friends on Sunday from 3:00-6:00 PM at the funeral home.  Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 356 N. Midler Ave., Syracuse, NY
