Lynn Ann (Maslar) Ford

Lynn Ann Ford, 53, of Binghamton passed away peacefully, while surrounded by her family on September 15, 2015, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Lynn was predeceased by her parents John and Otilia Maslar. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, John; daughter, Michele and Wade Fox; son, Marcus Ford and Megan Garey; brothers Michael Maslar, Scott and Michaela Maslar, and Dan and Patti Maslar; and several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was a secretary at the Broome County Department of Social Services for 32 years. She loved annual trips to the beach and spending time with her family. Lynn was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. The family will receive friends at the Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc. 96 Glenwood Ave, Binghamton, NY 13905 on Thursday from 4:00-8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Slovak Catholic Cemetery.  John, Michele, and Marcus would like to thank Lynn's DSS family, Dr. Y, Dr. Sethi, and her caretakers at UHS Wilson Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fox Chase Cancer Center, 333 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111 in Lynn’s memory.
