Lorraine J. Rose

Lorraine J. Rose, 79, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior on Sunday, July 12, 2015.  She was predeceased by her parents, Alfred & Gladys; her daughter-in-law, Anne Rose; and her foster child, Loretta.  She is survived by her loving husband, Tom Rose; two sons and a daughter-in-law, David & Karen Rose, of Apalachin, and Mark Rose, of Johnson City;  7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.  Lori is also survived by her sister, Kay Short;  many nieces, nephews, cousins;  and a dear friend, Dee Sinchak, who was a blessing to Lori in her last days.  She was a devoted member of the Church of the Holy Trinity.  Lori loved to travel, especially to the beach.  She enjoyed crocheting and needle work, playing cards, and being with her family and friends. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 16, 2015, at the Church of the Holy Trinity, 346 Prospect St., Binghamton, NY.  Family will receive friends at the Church of the Holy Trinity on Wednesday from 4:00-7:00 PM.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 401 Hayes Ave., Endicott, NY  13760.  Arrangements by Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc.
