Lillian R. Pencek, 94, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at Ideal Skilled Nursing Center.  She was predeceased by her husband, John Pencek; parents, Joseph & Margaret Wanagaitis; her sisters, Genevieve, Bertha and Marion Wanagaitis, and Bessy Faust; her brothers, George, Sam, Albert, John and Bartholomew Wanagaitis, and Joseph Van Dyke;  daughter-in-law, Dorothy Pencek.          She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard & Joan Pencek, Endwell; her daughter and son-in-law, Judith & Michael Yang, Naperville, IL.; 3 grandchildren,  Lynn Ann & Joseph Minnie, Philadelphia, Kristen Marie & Keith Guthrie, Rochester, NY, and Mark Pencek, Endwell; her sister, Elizabeth Tamosaitis, Scranton; several nieces, nephews and cousins.    Lil was a member of St. Joseph's Lithuanian Church, now the Church of the Holy Trinity, where she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society.  She also served on the bereavement committee luncheons at the church.  Lil was always ready to help others; including Lithuanian orphanages as well as her friends and family.  She was also known as 'the jewelry lady'.   She was a retired employee of Singer-Link Corp. Funeral services were held at 9:30 AM on Saturday at the Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc., 96 Glenwood Ave., Binghamton, and at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Holy Trinity, where a Funeral Mass was offered.  Burial was in Holy Spirit Cemetery.    In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Ideal Skilled Nursing Center, 601 High Ave., Endicott, NY  13760.
