Kenneth C. Rogers

Kenneth C. Rogers, 83, went to sleep in the Lord on Saturday, February 14, 2015,  in Aston, PA. He was surrounded by members of his loving family.  He was predeceased by his parents, Leroy & Katherine Rogers; his brothers, Bob, Raymond and Bunk; and his sister, Winnie Stefano.  He is survived by his wife, Julia Rogers; his son and daughter-in-law,  Mark & Karen Rogers; his granddaughters, Dominique Lazaros and Rachael Rogers; grandson,  Niko Lazaros; and great-grandson,  Alexandros Lazaros.  He was a devoted member of St. Michael's Greek Catholic Church and served as a board member at one time. He was a retired Electrical Engineer of I.B.M. Corp., Endicott and a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War.  Ken loved to spend time with his family and make pierogies with his friends at St. Michael's. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2015, beginning with the Panahida at 9:00 AM at the Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc., 96 Glenwood Ave., Binghamton, and followed by the Divine Liturgy at 9:30 AM at St. Michael's Greek Catholic Church, 288 Clinton St., Binghamton, with Very Rev. James Dutko officiating.  Burial will be at a later date.  Family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
