Kenneth P. Ciatyk, 64, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 30, 2017, at his residence. He was predeceased by his father, Richard P. Ciatyk; grandparents, Peter & Maria (Kocak) Ciatyk and Peter & Ruth (Kuehl) Markoff. He is survived by his mother, Mariam Ciatyk; his sister, Karen A. Ciatyk, both of Binghamton; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was a graduate of Binghamton Catholic Central HS and the College of Saint Rose, Albany, NY. Ken was a 45-year employee of the State of New York, most recently in the Office of the Comptroller. He was active in the Episcopal church, a member of the Masonic Lodge and was a volunteer at St. Peter's Hospital. He enjoyed going to concerts and day trips to the casinos. The family would like to thank Kenneth's coworkers, the Albany Coroner's office and the Albany Police for their assistance upon his passing. At the request of the family, services will be private.
