Kathryn E. Sirsen

Kathryn E. Sirsen, 73, was reunited with her parents and the pets she loved so much on Monday, September 6, 2021.  She was predeceased by her parents, Paul & Barbara Sirsen; and several aunts & uncles. She is survived by her fiancé, Anthony "AJ" Hayes; and several cousins, Joseph Sirsen, Patricia & Michael Paston, Christine & Tim Smith, Lisa & Robert Zinna; and extended family in Somerset Co., England.  Kathy was a longtime employee of the City of Binghamton as an assessor, and was also a real estate agent.  She loved her cats, her rabbits and her sheep, Huckleberry and Socks, and enjoyed antique shopping and attending antique auctions.  A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 13, 2021 at the Church of the Holy Trinity, 346 Prospect St., Binghamton, where friends may call from 10:00 AM until the time of the Mass at 11:00 AM.  Burial will be in Slovak Catholic Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society, 2 Jackson St., Binghamton, NY  13903.  Arrangements by Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc.
