June E. (Langley) Zarzycki

June E. Zarzycki, 84, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Mercy House in Endicott, NY. She spent the past 58 years in Johnson City, NY and was a devoted and beloved member of her community. June dedicated 34 years to Wilson Memorial Hospital in Johnson City as a medical laboratory technologist, a career that reflected her nurturing and caring nature. A graduate of Nanticoke High School in Pennsylvania and the Wyoming Valley Hospital Medical Technology Program, she was committed to her profession and the well-being of others. A lifelong parishioner, June worshipped at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Binghamton, NY, and later at the Church of the Holy Trinity in the same city.
Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her in her daily actions and commitments. June was known for her generous and selfless personality, always putting others before herself. Her home and heart were always open, making sure everyone around her was well-cared for. She was an active member of the Michigan Rummy card club, an avid cook and baker, and enjoyed day trips to the casino with her husband, Ron. June cherished attending her grandchildren's sporting events and exploring new information on her iPad. She is survived by her loving husband, Ron, "Zaz"; children, Henry (Kathy), Susan (Chad), Thomas (Debra), Terri Ann (David), Jane (Greg), and Michael (Alicia); her adored 16 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; as well as her sister-in-law, Maryanne Samsel; plus numerous other nieces and nephews. June was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Erna Langley; sister, Jacqueline Topping (James); and son-in-law, John Shafer. Family will receive friends from 9:30-11:00 AM on Friday, October 18th at the Church of the Holy Trinity, 346 Prospect Street, Binghamton, NY, where a Funeral Mass will be offered at 11:00 AM.
