John C. Berka

John C. Berka, 97, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 12, 2024.  He is survived by his sons and their families, Richard "Dick" Berka and David Berka.  He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and formerly worked for Stickley Siver Photo.  A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 19, at SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, 148 Clinton St., Binghamton, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of the Mass at 11:00 AM.  Burial with military honors will be in Slovak Catholic Cemetery at 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 16, 2024.    Arrangements by Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc.
