Jean M. Worhach

Jean M. Worhach, 88, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2016, at Elizabeth Church Manor after long battle with dementia. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael; her daughter and son-in-law, Jean Louise & Edward Raponi; her son, John; her sister, Florence Reiff; and her brothers Melvin, Edward, and Stephen Kashuba. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael & Kathryn Worhach, Boston, MA., and Thomas & Karina Worhach, Miami, FL.; daughter-in-law, Maureen Worhach, Binghamton; 9 grandchildren, Jill Raponi, Jennifer and Michael Worhach, Tom, Jim and Matt Worhach, Kasia and Tommy Worhach, Jeff & Christine Raponi; and a great-grandchild, Brady Raponi. Jean was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of St. Ann's Church, now the Church of the Holy Trinity. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday at the Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc., 96 Glenwood Ave., Binghamton, and at 10:30 AM the Church of the Holy Trinity, 346 Prospect St., Binghamton. Family will receive friends on Saturday from 9:00-10:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
