Jane G. (Gwin) Kocan

Jane G. Kocan, 99, of Johnson City, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on July 3, 2022, at the Mercy House of the Southern Tier. Jane was predeceased by her husband, Peter Kocan; and her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughters and spouses, Robin and Anthony Mastrangelo and Jacquelyn and John Almy; grandchildren, Kristen Almy, Nicholas Almy; nieces and nephews, Sharon Gwin, Stephen Gwin, Nicholas Kocan, Doreen McGowan and Robert Conti. The family would like to thank Theresa Breed for her endless love and caring for Mom over the years, the aides who took care of Mom while living at home, and the Mercy House. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 8, 2022, from 9:00-10:30 AM with the Funeral Mass to follow at 10:30 AM at the Church of the Holy Trinity, 346 Prospect Street, Binghamton. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Mercy House of the Southern Tier, 212 N. McKinley Avenue, Endicott, NY 13760.
