James A. Casey, 77, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2015, surrounded by his loving family.  He was a devoted husband, father and grandpa to his wife, Donna, of 54 years; son, Dan & Rebecca Casey, of NM; daughters, Kelly & Rodger Page, of Johnson City and Kimberly & Peter Layton, of NC; his beautiful grandchildren, Ashley Casey, Ryan and Erin Page and Joshua Layton.  He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Robert Stout & Mei Teal; nephew and his family, Ken, Nancy, Bree and Alex Stout, all of CA.; niece and her family, Sue, Doug, Sam and Lauren Nasby, of CT.; M.J. Pierce & family of DE; and other loving family members.  He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph & Ethel Casey; sister and brother-in-law, Joann & Carl Sekora; and sister-in-law, Shirley Stout.  He was a member of the Church of the Holy Trinity, where he served at the funeral brunches and belonged to the Holy Name Society.  Jim was a retired employee of U.P.S. and a U.S. Army veteran.  He enjoyed golfing and bowling and was a true New York Giants and Yankees fan.  We will miss his beautiful voice and his steady, kind demeanor.  He truly loved his family!  Rest in peace, our loved one of many years!   A Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:00 AM on Wednesday at the Church of the Holy Trinity, 346 Prospect St., Binghamton, NY  13905.  Family will receive friends at the church from 9:00 AM until the time of the Mass at 10:00 AM.  Memorial donations may be made to the Church of the Holy Trinity.  Arrangements made by Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc.
