Irene M. Survilla, of West Colesville

Irene M. Survilla, 80, passed away at home, in her sleep, on Sunday, May 18, 2014.   She was predeceased by her husband, Andrew D. Survilla; her brother, John Snopko; her grandson, Anthony Survilla; and her parents, John & Stephie Snopko.  She is survived by her children, Steve Survilla, Theresa Williams, Rick Survilla, and Andy & Annita Survilla; 5 grandchildren, Aaron, Collin, Josh, Rachel and Melissa; 4 great-grandchildren; and several close friends.  She was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Sanitaria Springs.  Irene was a retired 46 year employee of Endicott-Johnson Corp. and member of the B-Sens Booster Club; she was once Booster Member of the Year.  She enjoyed hockey, bowling, Nascar, her reality shows and going to the casino.  Funeral services were held at 9:45 AM on Thursday, May 22, 2014, at Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc., 96 Glenwood Ave., Binghamton, and at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph's Church,659 NYS Rte. 7B, Sanitaria Springs, NY, where a Funeral Mass was offered.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 13 Beech St., Johnson City, NY 13790 or to the B-Sens Booster Club, 1 Stuart St., 3rd Fl. Arena, Binghamton, NY  13901.
