Henry F. Pratt

Henry Francis Pratt, 88, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2016.  He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Mary (Pohlod) Pratt; his children, Linda (John) Griffin, Nancy (William) Cronin, Wayne (Carla) Pratt, and Mark (Diane) Pratt;  7 grandchildren, David and Michael Griffin, Jenna (Joseph) Halm, Zachary (Jennifer) Pratt, Nathan (Diana) Pratt, Lucas and Jacob Pratt; 5 great-grandchildren, Amelia, Reed, Aurora, Allegra and Charlette Pratt.  Also surviving are his brother, James (Marcy) Pratt; his sister, Angeline Ambra; sister-in-law, Olga (George) Gifford; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was a retired Meat Merchandiser from the Great American Food Stores.  He was a US. Merchant Marine veteran of WW II. Hank loved to dance and he was a great husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 14, 2016, at Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc., 96 Glenwood Ave., Binghamton, with Deacon Sandra Kadlecik officiating.  Burial will be in Floral Park Cemetery.  Family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.  Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the Arthritis Foundation.
