Geraldine (Bilski) Cupina, 87, passed away peacefully on Thursday November 9, 2023. She was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Mary Bilski; her husband Thomas J Cupina (the Iove of her life) and John Honsinger, her son-in-law. She is survived by her loving family; her sisters, Bernice Terry, and Carol Cargil; her daughters Therese Honsinger, Marie Wasser (Kevin); sons, Thomas Cupina (Cheryl) and Joseph Cupina (Lili). Seven Grandchildren Maria, Sean, Mathew, Derick, Lauren, Rachel and Joey; and seven great-grandchildren. Geraldine, known to many of her friends as “Jerry”, loved to travel when she was capable. She was an avid reader and a lover of history. Her sewing talents were second to none and she made many beautiful clothes for her daughters and granddaughters. She made Christmas stockings for just about anybody who was having a baby. Her baked goods were to die for. She was a member of the Church of the Holy Trinity, where she volunteered to help out with many church activities, including funeral planning. One thing that many people remember the most about Jerry was her thoughtfulness towards other people’s needs and her generosity toward the unfortunate. Jerry was a special person who will be missed by all who have crossed paths with her. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, November 15, at the Church of the Holy Trinity, 346 Prospect St., Binghamton.
