Elizabeth M. Konnick

Elizabeth M. Konnick, 92, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2016.  She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph;  her granddaughter, Morgan Konnick Cronan; her parents, Frank & Mary Tripicco; and her sister and brother-in-law, Romayne & Charles Fisher.  She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Gregory & Deborah Konnick and Randy & Corinne Konnick, all of Vestal; 3 grandchildren, Kyle (Nicholas) Tucci, David Konnick and Corey Konnick; and a great-granddaughter, Aviana Tucci.  Also survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank & Dorothy Tripicco and Joseph & Rita Tripicco;   numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, including special niece, Mary Fisher.  Betty was a member of the Church of the Holy Trinity.  She was a retired employee of Binghamton University.  In her retirement years, Betty very much enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting and knitting.  Funeral services will be held on Friday at 9:30 AM at the Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc., 96 Glenwood Ave., Binghamton, NY  and at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Holy Trinity, 346 Prospect St., Binghamton, where a Funeral Mass will be offered.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.  Family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home.
