Dorothy A. Tripicco, 93, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 8, 2023. She was predeceased by her parents, Michael & Albina Silvanic; 8 brothers, 2 sisters and their spouses; 2 sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Frank Tripicco; 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis & Marylee, Francis & Patti and David & Marci; 6 grandchildren, Michael (Jessica), Evan (Jessica), Andrew, Michele (Ryan), Courtney (Corey) and Matthew; 5 great-grandchildren, Miriam, Jack, Luke, Evelyn and Vivian; her sister-in-law, Rita Tripicco; and many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was a lifelong member of the Church of the Holy Trinity/St. Ann's, where she sang in the choir and was active in many organizations. Dorothy was also a member of the American Legion Post 1305 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed her trips to the casino. She was a generous person who stepped in wherever she was needed, and provided many delicious meals to her family and friends. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Katherine Holmes and the entire staff of Wilson North Tower 4 for their compassionate care. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at the Church of the Holy Trinity, 346 Prospect St., Binghamton, NY . Family will receive friends at the church from 9:00 AM until the time of the Mass at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in Holy Spirit Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
