Doris (Rosenkrans) Shuta

Doris Shuta, 86, peacefully left her place on this Earth on Friday, October 6, 2023.  She was predeceased by her husband, Michael Shuta; 3 sisters, Marion, Clara and Rena; and a brother, Maurice.  She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Vickie & Joe Slavetskas; a son, Michael Shuta; 3 grandchildren, Matthew and Justin Slavetskas and Sara (Bart) Holt; 3 great-grandchildren, Madalyn and Ryan Holt and Benjamin Slavetskas. Also survived by Benjamin's mother, Jen; a brother-in-law, Claude Bennett; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved companion cats, Oreo, Pewter, Homer and Gracie.   She was a member of SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, where she attended bingo every Friday with her best friends, Rosie and Bev. At her request the family will memorialize Doris privately at a later date.  Memorial donations may be made to SS.
