Donald R. Campbell

Donald R. Campbell, 82 of Binghamton, NY, passed away on April 1, 2025. Don was born in Schenectady, NY to J Loring Campbell and Alice McAlpine Campbell. He graduated from Binghamton High School, Binghamton University (Harpur College) and Syracuse University College of Law. He was a Lawyer with HH&K of Binghamton. He had a lifelong love of local history, was an avid fan of the NY Yankees and followed football and college basketball. He loved animals, hiking and bicycling. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Mead Campbell; three wonderful children and six wonderful grandchildren, Jonathan M. Campbell (Jennifer DeBosch) and his children, Jonathan Campbell, Jr. and Caitlyn Campbell Lovegrove; Charles R. Campbell (Sarah Grace Campbell) and their children, Laura Campbell and Richard Campbell; Brian R. Campbell (Carrie Fraga) and their children, Julia Campbell and Sophia Campbell.
Private graveside services will be held at Spring Forest Cemetery at a later date. Expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to The Humane Society 167 Conklin Ave. Binghamton, NY 13903. Arrangements are by the Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc. 96 Glenwood Ave. Binghamton, NY 13905.
