Connie L. (Wahl) Yacko

Connie (Wahl) Yacko went home to be with our Lord after a short illness, on Saturday, April 23, 2022, surrounded by her family.  She was predeceased by her parents, Janet & Donald Wahl; her sister, Donna Jean Wahl; and her brothers, Raymond and Alton Wahl.  She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Michael Yacko; her children, Janette & Scott Mulrooney, Stephen & Chrissy Yacko, Charlotte & Charlie Snyder, Jose & Kristen Contreras, Karen Gaskins; and many grandchildren, who she loved to the moon and back.  Also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Harry & Karen Wahl; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and her childhood best friend, Connie & Gary Gotthardt.  Connie loved diamond art, her beloved dog Chi Chi, coffee, her soaps, and reading novels, including Stephen King. But she loved her family most of all.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1:00 PM at the Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc., 96 Glenwood Ave., Binghamton.  Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at 1:00 PM.  Entombment will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park.
