Charles A. Larrabee, 85, passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 7, 2024. He was predeceased by his parents, Dorothy and James; his brother, James; sister and brother-in-law, Connie and Al Harding. He is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Carolyn (Monkovic) Larrabee; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Charles & Ashley Larrabee and Thomas & Carolyn Larrabee; one daughter and son-in-law, Anne Larrabee Freed & Dan Freed; five grandchildren, Raquel and Viktor Rohrbach, Emma, Eleanor and Thomas (TJ) Larrabee; and several nieces and nephews. Also survived by his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Judith & Richard Anastasio. Charlie was a member of the Church of the Holy Trinity and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was employed as a draftsman with NYSEG and C & C Welding. He was a loving husband who was devoted to his family. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 12, at the Church of the Holy Trinity, 346 Prospect St., Binghamton, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of the Mass at 11:00 AM. Entombment will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to Habitat for Humanity. Arrangements by Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc.
