Cecelia M. (Mazur) Portorsnok

Cecelia (Mazur) Portorsnok, 99, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 29, 2025.  She was predeceased by her daughter, Sandra Wandell; her parents, Martin and Anna Mazur; two brothers, Joseph and John Mazur; 7 sisters, Estelle Egan, Minnie Slavik, Mary Sinchak, Antoinette Matias, Eleanor Kopalek, Josephine Yezzi and Anna Damiano; and several nieces and nephews.  She is survived by several nieces, nephews and their families,  including Ronald & Sharon Kopalek; and her special neighbor, Rosie Lynch.  Cecelia was a retired employee of  General Electric Corp. and a former active member of the American Legion.  She was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, now the Church of the Holy Trinity.  A Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:00 AM on Monday, June 2, 2025 at the Church of the Holy Trinity, 346 Prospect St., Binghamton.  Family will receive friends at the church from 9:00 AM until the time of the Mass at 10:00 AM.  Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery.  Arrangements by Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc.
