Carolyn A. Larrabee, 84, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Willow Point Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles A. Larrabee in 2024; her sister, Lucy Chase; and her brother George Monkovic. She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles J. & Ashley Larrabee and Thomas & Carolyn M. Larrabee; one daughter and son-in-law, Anne Larrabee Freed & Daniel Freed; five grandchildren, Raquel and Viktor Rohrbach, Emma, Eleanor and Thomas "TJ" Larrabee; a sister and brother-in-law, Judith & Richard Anastasio; sister-in-law, Cindy Monkovic; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a member of the Church of the Holy Trinity and also sang in the choir. She was in the choir and the Mothers' Club at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church and served as a Cub Scout den mother at St. Cyril's. Carolyn was employed as a medical transcriptionist at several physicians' offices, including Dr. Sinha's and was also an LPN. She was a wonderful cook, and a great mother and grandmother who was adored by her children and grandchildren. Carolyn was a very sweet person and she had a smile for everyone. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 24 at the Church of the Holy Trinity, 346 Prospect St., Binghamton. Family will receive friends at the chuch from 12:00 noon until the time of the Mass at 1:00 PM. Entombment will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park.
