Brayden J. Haner

Brayden J. Haner, 35, of Port Crane, New York, passed away tragically on Thursday, July 2, 2026, as the result of a motorcycle accident. Though his life was cut far too short, the love, friendship, and memories he shared will remain in the hearts of those who knew him forever. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeffery and Tina Haner.Brayden is survived by his beloved daughter, Brooklynn Haner, who was the light of his life. He is also survived by his sister, Careen (Haner) Sisk, and her husband Benjamin, and their children Griffin, Gideon, Elliott, and Shiloh; his grandfather Lewis Haner; his grandmother Gayle Haner; and his girlfriend, Kristina Knight, who shared deeply meaningful moments with him. Brayden also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends—many of whom he considered family. He was rarely without the companionship of his beloved dog, Zaz, who held a special place in his heart.Brayden was known for his strong connections, his loyalty, and the way he made people feel welcome and valued. Whether spending time with friends, riding at BHM Off Road Park, or relaxing at The Old Fireside—his favorite places to be—Brayden lived life in the moments that mattered most.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 25th at 1:00 p.m. at The Old Fireside, 69 NY-7B, Port Crane, NY 13833, a place that meant so much to Brayden. Family and friends are invited to come together to share memories, laughter, and stories in honor of a life that will never be forgotten. Family was assisted by the Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc.
