Beatrice F. Jones

Beatrice F. Jones did not need prayers;  she is in the arms of the Lord.  She passed peacefully, surrounded by her family, on December 3, 2015.  She was predeceased by her parents, John & Mary Jones; sisters, Dolores Evans, Mary Schatz; a brother, John (Jug) Jones; nephews, Ronald and John Jones.  She is survived by her brother, Robert O. & Patti Jones; nieces and nephews, Robert Kellar, Thomas Kellar, Richard & Theresa Kellar, Judith & Tim Collins, James Evans, Jr., Denise & Jeff Soules, Angie Reed, Kelly Hrehor, Robbie & Karee Jones, Tommy Schatz, Krista Schatz and Shelly Dundon;  many great nieces and nephews; many great-great nieces and nephews.  Also survived by her life-long friends, Helen (Suzie) Galligan, Dee Forno and Linda (Marty) Martin.  Bea was a life-long member of SS. Cyril & Methodius Church.  She was a 40 year employee of Vincent J. Smith/Ely Park Apartments.  In her younger years, she was an outstanding athlete. Bea was a legend in her family; she was always there, never judged anyone and loved unconditionally with all of her heart.  Many thanks to Dr. Kloss, who Bea adored, and all of her friends at Broome Oncology.  A Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:00 AM on Monday, December 7, 2015, at SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, 148 Clinton St., Binghamton, NY.  Family will receive friends at the church from 9:00 AM until the time of the Mass at 10:00 AM.  Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lourdes Hospice, 169 Riverside Dr., Binghamton, NY  13905.
