Andrew J. Solak, 73, of Binghamton, NY, passed peacefully on June 25, 2026 to join his parents Andrew and Florence in eternal repose. He will be missed by his siblings; sister, Juliann and Todd, and brother, Michael and Joanne.
Andrew was a devout parishioner of Church of The Holy Trinity and served as volunteer VP on the board of Slovak Catholic Cemetery for 25+ years. He enjoyed his work life in the Mechanical Engineering Technology department at BCC. A dedicated First Warder, A.J. was an enthusiastic fan of Boston Red Sox baseball throughout his life. He showed us what it's like to live as a good person – kind, caring, generous – and we will not forget.
Special thanks to the team at Fresenius Kidney Care Vestal – especially Amy & Jackie, as well as the heartfelt support of Guthrie Hospice. And thanks, Kay, for help in our time of need.
A Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 2, 2026 at the Church of the Holy Trinity, 346 Prospect St., Binghamton. Private burial will be at Slovak Catholic Cemetery. Please no flowers and any donations may be given to your charity of choice. Enjoy your eternal journey with God. We'll miss you Foyt.
