Robert J. Murray

Robert John Murray, 85, passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2017.  He was predeceased by 3 brothers, Arthur, Patrick (Josie) and Edward Murray; grandmother, Mary A. Murray; and mother, Lottie Elliott.  He is survived by his sister, Mary M. Vavra; nephew, Michael (Karen) Vavra, AK; nieces, Ellen (Scott & Hugh) Cameron, MA; Marie (Eugene, Katherine & Andrew) Coleman, NYC; and nephews, William (Cindy & Joseph) Vavra, MN, and Marc Murray.  Robert attended local schools and worked at Gotham Shoe Factory.  A Memorial Mass will be offered at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 20 at SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, 169 Clinton St., Binghamton.  Inurnment will be in Spring Forest Cemetery.  Arrangements by Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc.
